In response to the continued escalation of the situation regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), BDO in Zambia is following Government guidance to do everything necessary to delay the spread of the virus.

We want to assure you that we are here, and remain determined to carry on providing you with the best service that we can in the circumstances of these uncertain and worrying times.

With the most recent guidance recommending a far greater degree of home working, we can assure all our clients and contacts that we have an IT platform which supports working remotely, and are therefore ready to provide an ongoing service to our clients as much as possible on a business as usual basis.
In practical terms, this means correspondence by email and telephone remains as normal, though we ask that you use mobile numbers (rather than general switchboard numbers) to speak to our partners and staff.  We have also equipped all staff computers with video conferencing facilities.

Our primary concern is of course the health and wellbeing of our clients, staff, service providers and communities. We have therefore taken the following steps:

Our offices remain open at present, but we are only holding critical face to face client meetings, with the majority taking place remotely

Preparations have been made to enable all staff to work from home

We have cancelled all upcoming events and have postponed the planning of any new events until further notice

We will continue to follow the ever changing situation and advice, which may mean that further adjustments are necessary to the protocols set out above.
While we will miss seeing you in person, we want you to know that we are here to support you and your business wherever we can throughout this extremely challenging time.
